Angela Marie Rogers Elrod, age 75, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on October 21, 2026. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 2, 1951, daughter of the late J.D. Rogers and the late Bonnie Black Rogers. She attended Mt. Holley Church of God. Angela was employed with the Department of Family and Children Servies of Douglas County for over ten years.

She had an undefeated record in Scrabble. She loved to take walks at Sweetwater State Park and was a jokester. She loved all kind of music but was a huge fan of Mercy Me. She was known as Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Most of all she loved Jesus.

She is survived by her sons: Danny Burnett (Pam) and Brian Elrod; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandchild: Elijah Elrod; daughter-in-law: Teresa Elrod.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
