Ann Williams Smith, 89 of Bremen passed away on July 16, 2026 in a healthcare facility.

She was born on August 27, 1936 in Gainesville, FL, the daughter of the late Jack Williams and Mildred Reeves Williams.

Ann was a Member of First United Methodist Church of Bremen for more than sixty years. She was an educator and a travel agent.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Jack MacDonald "J. Mac" Smith and her brother, Jack Williams, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Scott & Beth Smith and Paige & Stacy Freeman; grandchildren, Bailey and Ryan Steuerwald, Avery Smith, Anne Scott Smith, Reeves Freeman and Grant Freeman.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 20, 2026 between the hours 12 & 1:30 pm.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday at 2 pm from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Scott Smith, Nita Price and Dave Pollard will be speaking. Dr. Will Parrish, Dave Pollard, Brad Brannon, Ken Jones, Ken Smith Kent Reed, Brandon Barrow and Rick Pollard will serve as pallbearers. Guy Darnell, Bill Clayton, Allan Batchelor, Sam Ogden and Fidelis Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
