Anna Faye Turpin, age 88, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017. She was born in Dalton, Georgia on November 26, 1928, the daughter of the late Ernest G. Rollins and Winnifred Robertson Rollins. She was a retired assistant Postmaster with the Lithia Springs Post Office. She was a member the Douglasville First United Methodist Church. Faye perhaps will be best remembered by her family and friends for her culinary skills. She also loved to write poetry , some of which has been published. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Turpin; three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her son: Ric Turpin and wife, Rebecca; grandchildren: Ricci Turpin, Jr., Clayton Turpin, Russell Turpin and wife, Erica; great grandchildren: Addie and Camden; brother: Cliff Rollins and wife, Othelia; numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday January 23, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Mozley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Brett DeHart officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 P.M.
