Annie Faye Freeman, age 91 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. She was born December 24, 1930, in Jena, Louisiana, daughter of the late Walter Hanes and Ada Doughty Hanes. Annie was a homemaker and a member of Stringer Baptist Church in Stringer, Mississippi. In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her brother, George Hanes; and sisters, Sarah Pritchard, Mary McKnight, and Walterine Bradford. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Denise Ainsworth; son, Joe Freeman; grandchildren, Nicholas Ainsworth, Brittany Williams, Michael Freeman, and Brittany Brooks; eight greatgrandchildren and one more that is due in May. In keeping with Annie's wishes, her body will be cremated and her family will plan a service in Jena, Louisiana at a later date.
