Barbara
Reine
Dec 18, 1945 — Dec 3, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Hill Reine, who entered into eternal rest on December 3, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on December 18, 1945, in Livingston, Louisiana, Barbara lived a life centered around faith, family, and the things she loved most.
A devoted homemaker, Barbara poured her heart into caring for her family, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. She was gifted with her hands and often expressed her creativity through sewing. Barbara also found great joy in her passions, American Kennel Club show dogs and Tennessee Walking Horses, which brought her lifelong friendships and countless cherished memories.
Those who knew Barbara will remember her steady presence, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering commitment to her Christian faith as a Born-Again believer. She had a remarkable way of making others feel valued and loved, and her kindness will continue to ripple through the generations she leaves behind.
Barbara is survived by her devoted husband, Hugh Reine; her daughter, Tibrie Kenyon; her sister, Jan Chisom; and her brothers, Michael Wilson, Daniel Wilson, Eddie Wilson, and Greg Wilson. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Jontelle Hill and Brandon Kenyon; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Naquin, Makayla Naquin, and Deegan Hill; and one great-great-grandchild, Marcel Rosales. Each of them carries a part of her legacy—her love, her compassion, and her generosity of spirit.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Louis Hill.
As we grieve her loss, we also celebrate a life well lived, a life marked by devotion, faith, and the quiet strength that defined Barbara in every season. She will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.
