Benny Wayne Robinson, age 83, of Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2025. He was born in Carroll County on June 18, 1942, to the late Jelp Hershel Robinson and Clara Lucille Stapler Robinson.

Mr. Robinson was a proud member of Carpenter's Local 225 and Carroll Lodge #69 F.&A.M. in Carrollton, Georgia, where he had been a member for over sixty years.

After more than thirty years of dedicated service, he retired from the construction industry. He was also a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and faithfully served in the Marine Corps Reserve.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wendell "Skeeter" Robinson, and his niece, Beverly Gibbs Weathers.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janette Gibbs Robinson; his brother, Duell Robinson (Linda); his brothers-in-law, Talford Gibbs (Sudean) and Mike Gibbs (Kathy); as well as his beloved nieces and nephews, Brian Robinson (Katherine), Amy Marti (Andrew), Rodney Gibbs, Beth Riddle, and Jeff Gibbs (Sarah).

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Martin Hightower Funeral Home in Carrollton, with Dr. Stephen Allen and Rev. Mary Lou Grimmett officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Robinson, Alexander Robinson, Andrew Marti, Rodney Gibbs, Jeff Gibbs, and Charlie Cochran. Interment will follow at Goldridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Graham, Alabama.
