Betty Clure, age 63, of Douglasville, Ga., died Friday, November 20, 2009. She was born on August 17, 1946 in Maryville, Tennessee to the late Ruby Williams Purkey and Fred Purkey. Survivors include her husband Lynn Clure, Sr., Son; Lynn Clure, Jr., sisters and brother in law; Shirley and Grady Bivens of Maryville, TN., Janice Ramsey of Maryville, TN., Linda Melson of Bowdon, GA., grandchildren; Jason Tyler Clure and Brihanna Ashley Nicole Clure, and a number or nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 23, 2009 at 11:00 am from Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Sandra Lee delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Sunday, November 22, 2009 from 2-7 pm.
