Betty Sue Lunsford, age 45, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010. She was born in South Carolina on September 23, 1965, to Paul and Joyce Hobson Lunsford. She worked in the After School Program and was a substitute teacher for the Douglas County School System. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Paul Lunsford. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Lunsford of Douglasville; brother, David Lunsford of Douglasville and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 4 pm from Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Terry Marbut officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 pm on Saturday, November 27, 2010. According to her wishes her body will be cremated.
