Bob Randall Slay, Sr age 83, of Douglasville, earned his wings on Monday, January 23, 2023. He was born in Talladega, AL on September 14, 1939, the son of the late Theodore Roosevelt Slay and the late Addie Mae Barker Phillips. Bob was a retired carpenter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Slay; brothers, Jack Slay, Julis Slay, and Ulis Slay.

Bob is survived by his daughters; Shannon and Ken Hoey of Vinton, VA, Ginger Harper of Douglasville; and sons, Bud Slay of Lithia Springs, Scott Slay of Carrollton, and Randy and Linda Slay of Fairmount. Five Grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

As per his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
