Bobbie J McEntyre, age 86, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on June 5, 2025. She was born in Pinson, Alabama on September 20, 1938, daughter of the late Otis Andrew Dumas and the late Tressie Layfield Dumas.

She is survived by her children: Gina Ellison and her husband Tim, Mark McEntyre; grandchildren: Brent Lee Ellison, Elizabeth Ellison Heath and her husband Murray, Aimee McEntyre King and her husband David, Stacy McEntyre, Waide McEntyre, Tamara McEntyre Botan, Brook McEntyre, Amber McEntyre; twenty-three great-grandchildren; Three great-great-grandchildren; sister: Jerri Dumas Cooner; sisters-in-law: Fannie Herring, Joan Richerzhagen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: John Norman McEntyre; son: Norman McEntyre; grandson: John Andrew McEntyre; granddaughter: Alicia McEntyre

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 12:00 p.m. with Minister Caryl Strange officiating. Tim Ellison, Brent Ellison Mark McEntyre, David King, Scotty Newman, Murray Heath will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow at West Georgia Memorial.
