Mr. Bobby Chester Gentry, 69 of Candy Circle, Carrollton passed away March 2, 2007. Mr. Gentry was born on March 10, 1937 in Haralson County, Georgia the son of the late Seaborn Chester Gentry and Floy Gentry Campbell. A retiree of Engineering Research & Development Department with Southwire and member of Liberty Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his step-father, J.C. Campbell and a son, Allan Gentry. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Causey Gentry of Carrollton; daughter & son in law, Rhonda & Bryan Waldron of Decatur; daughter in law, Donna Gentry of Temple; sister, Joan C. Brown of Tallapoosa; sister in law, Sue Causey of Temple; grandchildren, Tyler & Bonnie Frankum, Rachel Stubbs, Trevor Gentry, Maggie Gentry and Eli Gentry. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 3, 2007 between the hours of 4 & 8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 4, 2007 at 2 PM from The Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home of Bremen with Minister Bill Gray and Minister Tom Howard officiating. Music will be provided by Harold Blackmon and Tom Howard. Jimmy Defreese, Richard Bracknell, Ravi Ganatra, Seth Hobson, Tyler Frankum, Trevor Gentry, Matthew Gray and Sean Bracknell will serve as pallbearers. Dave Hardin, Jerry Hesterlee, Mike Ervin, Wayne McAmis, Roy Jackson, John Johnson, Wallace Shaw, Joe Couch, Guy Womack, Gene Holloman, Jerry Brown, L.A. Dukes and Fletcher Yearty will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow in Pineywoods Cemetery.
