Bobby Holden, age 85, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2025. He was born on

January 16, 1940, in Copperhill, Tennessee to the late Homer Holden and the late Ollie Ellis Holden.

Bobby worked for a number of years in management with the Food Depot, Food Giant and Big Apple grocery store

chains. After his retirement, he formed his own lawn care business. He believed in hard work and that was evident by

his many years of taking care of other families and their lawns.

In addition to his mother and father, Bobby was preceded in death by his loving wife, Kay Dewberry Holden; sister,

Omlean Woody; brothers, Hoyt Holden and Jack Holden.

Bobby is survived by his daughters & sons-in-laws, Lisa Holden, Hilda & Darius Dutton, Carla & John Powers, and Gina & Paul Hawkinson; sister & brother-in-law, Aline & Harold Reece; and brother & sister-in-law, Loyd & Patricia Holden. He will be missed by his very special friend, Deborah Harrell. He also leaves behind grandchildren, Andrew Walton Bone, Joseph Douglass, Dalton Dutton, Skyler Dutton, Anthony & Carlee Powers, Steven & Emily Rush, Austin Hawkinson, Andrew Hawkinson and Brandon Hawkinson, along with three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Bobby's life will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Martin & Hightower Funeral Home with Elder Mickey Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in Central Baptist Church Cemetery in Douglasville.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 11:00 AM

until 1:30 PM.
