Bobby Lee Wentz, age 86, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on August 29, 2025. He was born in Lineville, Alabama on November 27, 1938, son of the late Morris Wentz and the late Anne Pettus Wentz. He was a Veteran of the United States Army National Guard. He attended Central Baptist Church. He retired from CSX Railroad after 41 years of service.

He is survived by his sons: David Wentz and his wife Rita, Scott Wentz and his wife Donna; grandchildren: Jeffrey Wentz, Josh Wentz and his wife Kenya, Jennifer Wentz, Austin Wentz and his wife Cheyenne, Gage Wentz and his wife Gracie; great-grandchildren: Charlotte Wentz, Lynnleigh Wentz, Bennett Wentz; brother-in-law: Jim Edmondson; niece: Cathy Wedell; nephew: Billy Edmondson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary Lee Wentz; sister: Shirley Edmondson.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Central Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, September, 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Charles Gibbs officiating.
