Brandon
Collins
Jul 9, 1991 — Feb 9, 2025
Michael Brandon Collins, 33, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025. He was born on July 9, 1991, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Rhonda Thompson and the late Tommy Collins.
Brandon was employed as a skilled framer at Cosper Construction, where he played a crucial role in the framework of their dedicated team. His passion for construction was evident in his meticulous attention to detail and his dedication to delivering quality work. In addition to his love for building, Brandon was an avid car enthusiast.
However, what mattered most to him was his family. He was a devoted son who always sought to support and care for his parents, a loyal brother who enjoyed creating lasting memories with his siblings, and a nurturing father who took immense pride in his children's achievements and well-being. Brandon's generosity, kindness, and unwavering commitment to those he loved will leave a profound void in the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Calvin Collins; his paternal grandmother, Connie Ruth Bailey; his maternal grandfather, Noble Henry Thompson Sr.; his maternal grandmother, Betty Thompson; and his brother, Shadoe Thompson.
He is survived by a loving family that includes his mother, Rhonda Thompson; his fiancé, Elizabeth Heard; his son, Zachary Ryan Collins; his daughter, Elizabeth Grace Collins; his brothers & sister-in-law, Jeremy & Christa Leann Collins and Joshua "Eric" Collins; his former wife, Kayla Lowe; and several uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
