Brenda Avery Forister, age 69 of Douglasville, passed away on Tuesday, March 02, 2021.  She was born on September 06, 1951 in Atlanta, GA, daughter of Joyce Wells Denson and the late Charles Avery. She was employed with The Wellstar System and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Brenda was a wonderful, Godly wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, and mother-in-law.  She loved the Lord greatly.  Brenda cared for others, but her grandkids were her pride and joy.  She was known as our Nani. She is survived by her husband, Carlton Wayne Forister; children: Brent Forister and his wife, Mitzi, Michelle Howard and her husband, Gary; grandchildren: Gracie Wilson, Ali Forister, Emma Forister, Aiden Forister, Waylon Howard; 1 great granddaughter: Charlotte Mabry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister: Gina Denson. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 04, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Union Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Ken Hennesy officiating.
