Brenda Joyce Hamby McLemore, age 74 of Douglasville, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. She was born on September 2, 1943 in Curryville, GA, daughter of the late Parrett Hamby and the late Johnnie Mae Barton Hamby. Brenda was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Gina Marie Rutherford. Brenda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles H. McLemore; grandchildren, Kyle Lee Rutherford and Jennifer Rutherford; sister, Carol Jean Mathias; and brother, Curtis & Kathy Hamby. In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
