Brenda Eidson Parks, age 81, of Douglasville, passed away on February 6, 2024, at a local healthcare facility. She was born in Carrollton on October 21, 1942, the daughter of the late Joseph Eidson and Jessie Cole Eidson. She was a retired pharmaceutical buyer for Reed Drugs and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Weldon Parks; and a brother, Ronnie Joe Eidson.

Survivors include her sisters, Linda Hightower (Klee Don), and Dale Cammon, both of Carrollton; nieces and nephew, Diana Eidson, Donny Hightower (Kim), and Amanda Quinn (Dr. Bryan).

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Klee Don Hightower officiating. Interment will follow after the service.
