It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carole Elizabeth Cagle, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, who departed this life peacefully on August 24, 2026, at the age of 81. Carole was born on February 5, 1945, in Hollywood, California. She was the daughter of the late Jonnie E.J. Tillery Haslag and the late Roman Nelson Haslag Sr.

Carole was a dedicated office administrator, having devoted most of her late years in her career to Superior Playground. She was known not only for her professionalism but also for her warm-hearted nature and the kindness she bestowed upon everyone she met.

Carole deeply loved the dogs in her life and enjoyed putt putt golf and travel vacations with her favorite companion, Bobby.

Carole is survived by her loving husband, Robert "Bobby" Cagle; her daughter, Emily Elbert; her son, Bryce Elbert; her sister, Nancy Haslag; her brother, Roman Haslag Jr.; and her grandchild, Tevis Elbert.

In this difficult time, the family asks that we honor Carole's memory by cherishing our loved ones and being kind to one another, as she exemplified throughout her life. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.

In accordance with Carole's wishes, her body will be cremated, and the family will have a memorial service at Shiloh Methodist Church at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
