Mrs. Carolyn Windom Adams, age 65, of Aspen Lake Dr., Newnan, Ga., passed away February 16, 2007. She was born July 26, 1941 in Carroll County, Ga., to the late Euzella Helms Windom and the late A.L. Windom. Mrs. Windom was the retired owner and operator of Small World Day Care and a member of Eureka Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Bonner and Mary Lynn Windom. Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Adams; her sons and daughter in-laws, Tim & Lorene Adams of Lagrange and Joel & Gail Adams of Newnan; two sisters, Evelyn Windom of Carrollton and Gladys Summerlin of Leesburg, Ga., a brother and sister in-law, Henry & Ellen Windom of Carrollton; three grand children, Jeremy Adams, Jason Adams and Jessica Adams; also a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 2 PM from Eureka Baptist Church with Rev. Junior Jones officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 1 PM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Gary Bradley officiating.
