Charles Virlyn Shadix, age 87, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on January 27, 2025. He was born in Douglasville, Georgia on March 16, 1937, son of the late Kermit Shadix and the late Glennie Rae Camp Shadix. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Douglasville.

He is survived by his wife: Ruby Bryant Shadix; children: Keith Shadix (Leigh), Steve Shadix; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sister Melba Acholes; brothers: Quinton Shadix, Buck Shadix, Ronnie Shadix, Philip Shadix

The family will receive friends at Central Baptist Church Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Charles Gibbs officiating.
