Christopher "Chris" LaVaughn Burden, 40 of Hwy 78 Bremen passed away June 27, 2007. Chris was born on July 9, 1966 in Haralson County, Georgia the son of Joe L. Burden and the late Linda Lou Walker Hurst. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Brock Burden and two grandfathers. He is survived by his father, Joe Burden of Bremen; Step-father, Jim Hurst of Bremen; half-brother, Kevin Hurst of Bremen; and grandmothers, Ruth Burden and Reba Walker both of Bremen. Services will be conducted Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 2 PM from The Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home of Bremen with Brother Herman Parker officiating. Hunter Burden, Tony Chambers, Dicky Chambers and Thomas Gray will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
