Claudia "Gayle" Bearden, age 84, of Temple, Georgia, passed away on October 13, 2025. She was born in Douglasville, Georgia on September 22, 1941, daughter of the late Otis Bearden and the late Thelma Bearden. She was employed with the CDC where she worked for over twenty-five years as an Administrative Assistant.

Ricky Shadix was her cousin and caregiver, whom took care of her for years.

She is survived by her sister: Allene Ray; sister-in-law: Clarice Bearden; cousin: Ricky Shadix; nieces and nephews: Paula Benjamin, Charles Jeffrey Ray, Bryan Ray, Sherry Cramner (Joseph Parrett), Angie Cramner, Patrick Cramner, Steven Bearden, Ken Davis, Steven Cramner (Debbie), Andy Hass; and many cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Retha Queen (Bill), Annis Davis (Bill), Zel Hatcher (Bill),

Richard Bearden, Wesley Bearden: brother-in-law: Bill Ray.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Charles Gibbs officiating.

Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Garden.
