Clyde Stanley Dupont II of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on June 13, 2020 at a local healthcare facility. He was born in Arlington, Virginia on October 29, 1969 to Joan Kimball Dupont and the late Clyde Stanley Dupont. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a sister, Melanie K. Dupont. Survivors include his mother, Joan Kimball Dupont; a son, Cas Dupont of Kentucky; sister and brother in law Pamela and Gary Benton of Buchanan; a number of nephews and one great niece. Mr. Dupont retired as Corporal from the United States Marine Corps and is a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cedartown. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Buchanan City Cemetery with Elders Maury Kimball, Dale Berry, Don Garmon and Spencer Kimball conducting the service. Kaden Benton will deliver the Invocation and Gaven Benton the Benediction. Gary Benton, Kaden Benton, Gaven Benton, Cas Dupont, Dale Berry and Maury Kimball will serve as Pallbearers with Rodney Kimball, Roger Kimball and Spencer Kimball serving as Honorary Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Wounded Warriors or St. Jude's Hospital.
