Connie Joyce Miller Jackson, age76, of Temple, Georgia passed away Friday, July 29, 2022. She was born in Carroll County, Georgia on August 21, 1945 daughter of the late Thad L. Miller and the late Syble Parker Miller. She was retired from the Fred H. William Company where she worked as the General Manager. Connie was a member of Douglas Chapel Church of God. Connie learned to play the piano by ear in her early teens and was the church pianist and soloist for many years. She is survived by her husband, Isaac W. Jackson; son, William Ike Jackson (Robbin); sister, Phyliss Connally (Gary); brother, Phil Miller (Gloria); grandchild, Amber Jackson; great grandchildren, Gage Rhymer, Cross Rhymer; nieces and nephews that she referred to as her "babies", Michelle Fountain, Makenzi Seaton, Kimberly Seaton, Joshua Miller, Matthew Connally, Whitney LaPoint; great nieces and nephews, Kevin Miller, Phoenix Connally, Lucy Miller, Emma Miller and Michael Miller. In addition to her parents, Connie was also preceded in death by her sister, Judy Parks. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Douglasville with Minister James Massengill officiating, Josh Miller and Kim Seaton speaking. Serving as Pall Bearers, Gage Rhymer, Cross Rhymer, Bill Hendrix, Kenneth Ball, Joshua Miller, Ike Jackson. Interment will be at Douglas Chapel Church of God Cemetery in Winston, Georgia.
