Curtiss Anthony Jones, age 59 of Douglasville, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016. He was born on September 20, 1956 in Atlanta, the son of the late Dorist Jones and the late Margaret Bessie Iona Weese Jones. Mr. Jones was the owner and operator of Curtiss Jones Gutters for many years. He was a member of the Straightway Full Gospel Church. He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Cathy Annette Crankshaw Jones of Douglasville; sisters and brothers-in-law: Vickie and Kenneth Hawkins of McDonough and Elaine and Chris Bryson of Tennessee; brother, Dave Jones of Powder Springs; step-children: Stevie Ray Stephens and his wife, Deborah, of Temple, and Donnie Lee Stephens of Austell; six step-grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Hightowers Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bobby Cheek and Deacon Ricky Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
