Daniel Lee Jones, age 84, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on April 10, 2026. He was born in Sherman, Texas on October 13, 1941, son of the late Leslie David Jones and step-mom Sally Jones and the late Allegra O'Dell Davis. He attended Campbellton United Methodist Church. Daniel was a United States Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his wife: Vicki Whaley Jones; children; Davin Jones and his wife Jennifer, Courtney Hutchins and her husband Jimmy; daughter-in-law: Katy Jones; grandchildren: Mason Jones, Morgan Jones, Micah Jones, William Jones, Garrett Jones, Davis Hutchins, Jones Hutchins, Finley Hutchins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Zachery Jones; brothers: Jim Jones, Leslie Jones, and baby John Jones.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will follow at West Georgia Memorial Park.
