Mrs. Dao Thi Cheney, age 77, of Folds Rd., Carrollton, Ga., passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009. She was born July 16, 1932 in Quinhon, Vietnam the daughter of the late Phan Thi Lien and Phan Hung. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Cu Lai; daughter, Norma Jean Cheney Bradbary; son in law, Jason Bradbary and sister, Phan Thi Gao. Survivors include her husband to whom she was married to for 44 years, Walter Franklin Cheney; children and their spouses, Phuong Ngo of Fountain Valley, CA., Loi Cronce (Mark) of Marietta, MyLean Cheney Harris (Keith) of Clem, Michael Cheney (Melody) of Ephesus and Kenneth Cheney of Atlanta; brother, Phan Loc; grandchildren, Jackie Nguyen, Krista Nguyen, Perry Nguyen, Tanya Cronce, Kristie Cronce, Paige Bradbary, David Harris, Melanie Cheney and Michael Cheney, Jr. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 1 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Min. Barry Shoemake officiating. Pallbearers will be Ryan Peterson, Chris Tyson, Rich D'alessandra, Earl Cheely, Grady Cheely and Jamie Cheely. Interment will follow in Bremen City Cemetery.
