David George, age 25 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away December 15, 2016 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born September 08, 1991 in Carrollton, Georgia to Julie George and the late Clay George. He attended Villa Rica High School where he was a member of the varsity baseball team and he graduated from Central High School. He resided in Jacksonville, Alabama where he was a student at Jacksonville State University majoring in Mass Communications. David was adventurous, high spirited and loved spending time hanging out with his friends. He is accompanied in death by his father, Clay George. Survivors include his mother, Julie Marie Chambers George of Carrollton, Georgia; grandparents, Oliver George of Muscadine, AL, Hulett Chambers of Waco, GA, Peggy and Randy Spradlin of Mt. Zion; great grandparents, Pat and Clyde Shirey of Bowdon, GA; a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of friends. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Rooks, Rev. Mike Harris, and Dr. Mason Bush officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Xavier Simpson, Patrick McConnon, Shawn Kelsey, Adrian Coffey, Corey Carter, and Ethan Hart. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
