Deborah Embrey Woody, age 68, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away on April 25, 2025. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 17, 1957, daughter of Mary Dorr Wolski and the late Garry Eugene Embrey. She was a former Douglas County Commissioner.

She is survived by her children: Starla Shriver and her husband Tommy, Heather Jordan and her husband Scott; grandchildren: Bailey Elise Shriver, Mallory Jane Shriver, Cameron Scott Jordan, Hunter Nathaniel, Jordan; mother: Mary Dorr Wolski; brother: Richard Edward Embrey, Paul Eric Embrey.

She was preceded in death by her father: Garry Eugene Embrey and brother: Kerry Lee Embrey.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The memorial service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m.
