Denny Leon Chosewood, age 79, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on October 24, 2026. He was born in East Point, Georgia on July 13, 1947, son of the late Josh Joseph Chosewood and the late Nellie Mae Chosewood. He was an Untied States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his wife: Jean Chosewood; children: Denny Chosewood, Jr (Pam), Crystal Gordon (Phillip), Amanda Pirkle (David), Sam Gingrich (Katie), Angie Chosewood, Alicia Chosewood, Tony Chosewood; Twenty-two (22) grandchildren; eighteen (18) great-grandchildren; sister: Emily Stewart; brothers: Raymond Chosewood, Billy Chosewood, Donald Chosewood (Mary).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Connie Morgan, siblings: Elaine Blankenship, Evelene Smallwood, Idelia Smallwood, Joe Chosewood.

The family will receive friends at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 12:00 p.m. with Minister Mike Mallory officiating. will serve as pallbearers.

Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden will be October 27, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
