Donna Jean Oglesby, 67, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024. She was born on November 12, 1956, in Pitman, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Christopher Sigmund and Elaine Kitz Sigmund.

Donna was a dedicated homemaker and caregiver who brought her previous experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse, a home health aide, and a substitute teacher at Carroll County Schools into her daily life. In her leisure time, she found joy in activities such as drawing, reading, puzzling, and watching the Hallmark Channel, with a particular fondness for her favorite show, Downton Abbey. Donna will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Frew.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Ronald Oglesby; children, Lori Smalley, Christa Oglesby, Ryan Oglesby, and Shane Oglesby; brother, Gary Sigmund; sister, Lynn McClellan; and nephews, Brian Sigmund and Adam Sigmund.

In keeping with Donna's wishes, her body will be cremated and there are no services planned at this time.
