Eddie Howard Mastin, age 83, of Five Points, Alabama, passed away on January 5, 2025. He was born in Wilkesboro, North Carolina on December 21, 1941, son of the late Sanford Eugene Mastin and the late Ruby Florence Transou. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He attended Wehadkee Baptist Church in LaGrange, Georgia. He retired from BellSouth with over 30 years of faithful service.

He is survived by his wife Carol Pitts Mastin of 57 years of marriage; son: Howard Eugene "Gene" Mastin (Jennifer); grandchildren: Mitchell Lee Mastin (Abigail), Mallie Belle Mastin, Melea Renae Mastin; sister: Libby Ray.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The memorial service will follow in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Nick Pilgram, Pastor Jason Lee officiating.
