Mr. Edgar "Ed" R. Nicholson, 78 of Cashtown Road, Bremen passed away April 25, 2006. Mr. Nicholson was born on January 1, 1928 in Mackinac County, Michigan the son of the late Don Nicholson and Bertha Raddatz Nicholson. A retired fork lift driver with Wades Manufacturing in Oregon. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Don Nicholson. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Estvanko Nicholson of Bremen; two sons, Eddie Nicholson and Tom Nicholson both of Michigan; three daughters and sons in law, Linda & Larry Angle, Sandy & Mitch Kirby and Janice & Tom Pare all of Michigan; step-children, Randy Bare of Bremen, Charles & Roberta Bareof Oregon, Marjorie & Tim Terlume of Illinois and Jessie Bare of Oregon; one sister, Pearl Bammarito of Bremen; one brother, John Nicholson of Wisconsin; twenty-seven grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, April 28, 2006 at 2 PM from The Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home of Bremen with Mrs. Connie Smith speaking. In accordance with family wishes, cremation will follow.
