Emily Sue Bemus, age 73, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026. She was born on in Moultrie, Georgia on October 28, 1952, daughter of the late Robert S. Bemus and the late Willie Sue Henderson.

She is survived by her sister, Debra Dodd (Mike); brother, Charles Bemus (Lynn);Roger Nelson and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Emily was also preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Bemus and Jeffery Bemus.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2026. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm in the chapel at the funeral home with Rev. Mike Mallory officiating.

Interment will be at Paulding Memorial Gardens.
