Mrs. Esther Naomi Callahan, age 27, of Whitesburg, GA passed away on Monday, March 31, 2008. Mrs. Callahan was born February 26, 1981, in Lithia Springs, GA , to James Milton Thomas and Elizabeth Bonnie Carlisle. Survivors include her husband, Buddy D. Callahan, Jr.; father James Milton Thomas of Missouri; mother and step-father, Elizabeth Bonnie & Timothy John Carlisle of Whitesburg; daughter, Sidney Naomi Callahan; sister, Rebekah Griffin; brother, Jonathon Thomas all of Whitesburg; maternal grandmother, Salena Schaus of Hiram; In-laws, Buddy & Mary Callahan; sisters-in-law, Debbie Martin and Melody Brookshire; brothers-in-law, Ken Callahan, Dwight Callahan, and Michael Callahan all of Whitesburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 3, 2008, at 4:00 PM, from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Bro. Frank Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow at the Whitesburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
