Mr. Eugene T. Marlow, age 83 of Roopville, Georgia, passed away Friday afternoon, May 3, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 3, 1935 in Carroll County, Georgia, the son of the late Wooty Elton Marlow and the late Buna Lanora King Marlow. In his working career, he was a self-employed mechanic in the trucking field. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Brand and a grandson, Nicolas Marlow. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Sandra Jean Moultrie Marlow; children: Ray Marlow of Veal, Vickie McFadden of Bremen, and "Jody" Eugene Marlow of Cedartown; sister, Linda Moore of Carrollton; seven grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 6, 2019 at 4:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Wesley Boatman officiating. Interment will follow in the Veal Community Cemetery with Mr. Kenneth Marlow presiding. Pallbearers will be Joey McFadden, Scotty Nicholson, Corey Bishop, Shawn Midkeff, Lyle Vinson, and Henry Pedigo.
