Frances Earlene Brown, age 87 of Bremen, passed away at her home on Friday, September 11, 2026. She was born September 9, 1939 in Tallapoosa, Georgia, the daughter of the late Enoch Samples and Sula Mae Yarborough Samples.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Larry, Fields and Doyle; and sisters, Velma and Mozelle.

She worked various jobs including nursing at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. She spent time and enjoyed going to convention singings better known as "new book singing" that was sung in the Stamps Baxter style of music.

Survivors include her son, Tony (Cheryl) Samples; grandchildren, Zack (Madison) Samples and Bree (Phillip) Simmons; great grandchildren, Nash and Arthur; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 17, 2026 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Services will follow at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Alexander officiating. Tommy Dingler, Phillip Simmons, Zack Samples, Stacey Bullock and Richard Barrett will serve as Pallbearers.

Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery
