Gerald Edward Driver, age 59, of Whitesburg, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. He was born on April 7, 1966, in Newnan, Georgia, the son of the late James Edward Driver and Mary Ann Poore Driver.

Gerald lived an unconventional life, some may say. He was never rooted in one place for too long. He was truly a free spirit, with the heart of a wanderer and the soul of an adventurer. In his younger years, he loved spending time outdoors, especially on the lake, and enjoyed playing golf, hunting, and water sports. Gerald had a sharp wit and a contagious sense of humor that could light up any room. Beneath his wild and carefree nature was a deeply kind and generous heart, known and loved by those closest to him.

He is survived by his four children, Brittany Driver, Blake Driver, Kayanna Driver, and Toby Driver; his sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Robert McInnis; and his nephew, Jacob McInnis.

In keeping with Gerald's wishes, he will be cremated, and no formal services are scheduled at this time.
