Grayson Lynn
Ware
Apr 8, 2022 — Jul 8, 2026
With hearts that are broken yet forever grateful for the gift of his life, we celebrate the precious life of Grayson Lynn Ware, who passed away far too soon. Grayson was born on April 8, 2022, in Tallahassee, Florida, to Brett and Emillie Ware. Though his time on earth was only four short years, the joy, laughter, and love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Grayson was the kind of little boy who filled every room with life. He was always moving, running, jumping, climbing, and exploring the world with endless curiosity and boundless energy. He had a smile that could brighten the darkest day, and there was almost always laughter following close behind. Whether he was making one of his famous goofy faces, giggling while being chased through the house, or laughing until he could hardly catch his breath from a good tickle, Grayson found joy in the little moments and invited everyone around him to share it.
More than anything, Grayson loved people. He never met a stranger and was happiest when surrounded by family and friends, in a house full of laughter. Every gathering felt like a celebration to him because Grayson simply loved being where the people he loved were. He had a heart that naturally looked after others, especially little ones. If he saw a baby learning to walk, he was often the first to offer a helping hand. He was kind, compassionate, and eager to help, whether that meant carrying in groceries, stirring something in the kitchen, folding laundry, or tackling any chore alongside his family. His willingness to serve came so naturally, even at such a young age.
One of Grayson's greatest joys in life was his big sister, Dannie. He adored her beyond words and wanted to be wherever she was. It didn't matter whether she was playing sports or dressing Barbie dolls. If it meant spending time with Dannie, Grayson was all in, even if that meant putting on princess clothes with a smile. She was his best friend, and together they filled their home with laughter, imagination, and unforgettable memories.
Grayson had a fascination with construction trucks that amazed everyone who knew him. He could identify every type by name and delighted in watching them at work. He also treasured his ever-growing collection of toy cars, which could often be found scattered throughout the house, each one part of another grand adventure. He loved Paw Patrol, enjoyed every opportunity to play sports, and was naturally athletic, always ready to run toward whatever excitement awaited him.
Despite his endless energy, Grayson also had a gentle, thoughtful side. If the house suddenly became quiet, his family knew exactly where to find him, curled up with a favorite book, happily turning pages on his own. He loved learning and often talked excitedly about his preschool teacher, Ms. Padgey, and everything he experienced at Tabernacle Baptist Church Preschool. His curiosity about the world was as remarkable as his joyful spirit.
Grayson was also active in his Primary class at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he loved singing Primary songs with his friends. His faith was nurtured from an early age, and those songs that brought him so much happiness now serve as treasured memories for those who loved him.
Perhaps what his family will cherish most are the words he spoke so freely. Grayson never missed an opportunity to remind the people around him that he loved them or to tell them they "are beautiful." Those simple words reflected exactly who he was, a little boy with a heart full of kindness, encouragement, and unconditional love.
He leaves behind his devoted parents, Brett and Emillie Ware; his beloved big sister, Dannie Ware; his grandparents, Lynn and Vicki Ware and Gail Roberts; the cherished memory of his grandfather, Denis Roberts, who preceded him in death; ten loving aunts, ten devoted uncles, twenty-nine cousins, and countless extended family members and friends whose lives are forever richer because of Grayson.
Although Grayson's life was far too brief, its impact was immeasurable. He taught those around him to laugh often, love generously, help willingly, and never miss an opportunity to tell someone they are loved. His bright spirit, compassionate heart, and larger-than-life personality will continue to shine through every memory shared, every story told, and every life he touched.
Even in his passing, Grayson continued to care for others. Through the gift of organ donation, this remarkable little boy gave his heart to a six-year-old girl and his liver, pancreas, intestines, and kidney to a seven-year-old girl, offering hope, healing, and the chance at life to two other families. It was the final act of generosity from a child who had spent his life wanting to help those around him. In every sense of the word, Grayson was a little hero.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home.
A celebration of Grayson's beautiful life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at The Carrollton Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to support the Ware family during this difficult time may do so through Grayson's memorial GoFundMe page:
Though his little footprints were only left here for a short time, the love Grayson gave will remain forever. His family finds comfort in knowing that the light he shared so freely continues to shine in every heart he touched, and now, quite literally, part of his beautiful heart continues to beat on in another child. His precious life is a reminder that even the smallest among us can leave the greatest legacy.
