Harlean Laura Mersinger, age 79, of Douglasville, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017. She was born on December 15, 1937 in New York, NY, daughter of the late Max Posner and Sally Posner. She worked as a substitute teacher and was of the Jewish faith. Harlean is survived by her husband of 42 years, Paul Henry Mersinger; son, Jeffery Katz and wife, Essie; daughters; Francine Senesac; Michelle Cauley and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Baila Katz, Mordechi Katz, Chabi Katz and Ben-Psio Katz; Melanie Senesac, Caleb Davis and Jessye Cauley. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Rev. Josh Agan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
