Harold Jetty "Buddy" Cornwell III, age 62, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on December 9, 2025. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 5, 1963 son of the late Harold Cornwell Jr and the late Lois Long Cornwell.

He is survived by his wife: Michelle Bailey Cornwell; children: Matthew Cornwell and his wife Alaina, Valerie Melendez and her husband Alex, and Brandi Shirley; sister: Sharon Davis and her husband Eddie; brother: Kenny Cornwell and his wife Kim; nieces and nephews: Trey Bentley, Ashley Bentley, Allison Bentley, Kenneth Cornwell Jr, Kris Cornwell; grandchildren: Oakland, Avery, Irene, Sebastian, Juliet, Olivia; his dogs: Duke, Bella, and Nadia.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. u until 2:00 p.m.

The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Matt Crowe officiating.

Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Garden.
