Helian Faye Ordway, age 91 of Carrollton, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017. She was born March 14, 1926 in Canton, New York, daughter of the late John Leggins and Florence Burnett Leggins. She was the office manager at Lancaster Animal Hospital where she had worked for more than 40 years and was a volunteer with the Tanner Medical Center Auxiliary. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was also an avid country music fan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Ordway; and a daughter, Barbara Morgan. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Crowley of Plymouth, MA; son, Skip Ordway of Carrollton; a dear friend, Sandy Daniel of Temple, GA; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Sam Ball officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. Interment will be conducted Friday, October 6, 2017 at 1:30 PM in Eastwood Cemetery located on Old Common Road, Lancaster, MA.
