Hoyt Rodney Crump, age 61, of Douglasville, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016. He was born on September 19, 1955 in Cornelia, Georgia, the son of the late Plumber Hoyt Crump and the late Sylvia Amanda Thomason Crump. He retired from Mashburn Construction as a Lead Carpenter. He was a Christian. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother: Monty Crump. He is survived by his wife of nearly 20 years: Karen Davis-Crump of Douglasville, Georgia; children: Lynnette Davis of Austell, Georgia and Tony Davis of Los Angeles, California; sister and brother-in-law: Cynthia and Darren Mote of Gainesville, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law: James and Vivian Crump of McDonough, Georgia; grandchildren: T. J. Hamilton, Kierra Hamilton, and Hunter Davis, all of Austell, Georgia; Three Nieces; Two Nephews. The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 28, 2016 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. The Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 4:00 P.M. in Hightower's Memorial Chapel. In accordance with his wishes, his body will be cremated following the funeral service.
