James I. Gann, age 85, of Lithia Springs, Georgia, passed away on February 19, 2026. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 1, 1940, son of the late James M. Gann and the late Nora Smith Warren.

He is survived by his children: Debbie Harper, Scott Gann and his wife Angie; grandchildren: Carrie Haper, Amy N. Harper, Sierra Gann, Kara Lewallen; great-grandchildren: Haley Sellers, Ethan Sellers, Emily McClendon, Ava McClendon, Sean Nash, Axel Musgrove, Carson Lewallen, Paige Lewallen; great-great-grandchildren: Christian Sellers, Chanelle Miller; brother: Dean Gann and his wife Sandra.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Loretta Betsil Gann; brothers: Jack Gann, Darrell Gann; sister: Gail Yarbrough.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will follow at Mozley Memory Garden.
