James Battle Hall, Jr. of Bremen, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011 in a Cartersville hospital. He was born in Floyd County, January 24, 1943, son of the late James Battle Hall, Sr. and Anna Whitlock Carr. Mr. Hall was an accountant for the Georgia Department of Corrections, a U. S. Marine Corp veteran and a Baptist by faith. Survivors include children, Jake Hall, Bremen, Sally and Josh Riddle of Dallas, Jamie Hall and Jessica Hall both of Carrollton, Jenny and Bruce Charles of Carrollton; a sister, Judy Hall of Birmingham, AL and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12 noon until the funeral hour. Memorial services will be Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Buddy Gentry officiating.
