James Ollie Truett of Buchanan, passed away in a Cobb County hospital, Thursday, December 27, 2012. He was born in Haralson County, June 7, 1941, son of the late Claude Arnold Truett and Mary Louise Gilbert Truett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Van Truett and a sister, Linda Robinson. Survivors include his wife, 'Susie' Gladys Bragg Truett of Buchanan; children, James Edward and Tammy Truett, Carrollton, Judy Ann Wilson of Pennsylvania, Pamela Sue and Ben Bentley of Buchanan; brothers, Eugene Truett, Bremen, Tony Truett, Bremen, Rex Arnold Truett, Temple, Johnny Ray Truett, Temple and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Services will be Monday, December 31 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Gentry, Rev. Shane Roberson and Rev. Thomas Ward officiating.
