Janice Cox Hendrix, age 71, of Carrollton, Georgia, peacefully passed away at her residence on April 2, 2025. Born on September 9, 1953, in Griffin, Georgia, she was the beloved daughter of the late Neuil Cox and Kathleen Heard Cox.

Janice dedicated many years of her career as an Inspector with Dowling Textile Company. Beyond her professional commitments, she was a devoted member of Westview Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia, where she found community and spiritual fulfillment. Janice found great pleasure in fishing and camping with her family and friends. In her spare time, she could be found knitting blankets or other gifts for friends to show her love for them. Janice will be remembered for her love for animals, especially dogs.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her cherished husband Floyd Hendrix; sister Sharon Cochran; brothers Dean Cox, Donald Cox, Denny Cox, Randy Cox and Robin Cox; all of whom she held dear in her heart.

She is lovingly remembered by her son & daughter-in-law Shane & Mary John Hendrix; sister Wendy Hubacher; brother Roger Cox; grandchildren, Ava Hendrix & John Hendrix; nephew & niece Ryan & Rachel Cox; and great-nieces Autumn Cox & Annabelle Cox, who brought immense joy to her life; as well as her other extended family members who will carry her memory forward.

In accordance with Janice's wishes, her body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
