Janice Dianne Pollard, age 72, passed away at a local healthcare facility on Sunday, December 1, 2024. She was born in Bremen, August 16, 1952, daughter of the late Johnny and Mary Smith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Mark Smith; and a sister, Linda Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Ritchie Pollard; children, Renee (Mark) Leatherwood of Whitesburg, Christy (Tarby) Brown of Carrollton, Stacy Pollard of Bremen, Tina (Rudy) Rudeseal of Tallapoosa and Mindy Pollard (Torrey Crabb) of Weaver, Alabama; brother Ray Smith of Buchanan; ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Services will be Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Anthony Puckett officiating. Justin Leatherwood, Tyler Leatherwood, T.J. Brown, Deven Brown, Dylan Rudeseal, Preston Rudeseal and Kason Crabb serving as Pallbearers.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
