Jax Alec Cody, the precious infant son of John Alec Cody and Alexis Fulton Cody, was born into Heaven on Monday, March 2, 2026. Though his time with us was too short, he is deeply cherished and will forever be remembered by those who awaited his arrival with hope and love.

In the quiet moments of expectation and in the sorrow of his passing, Jax was surrounded by the prayers and faith of his family. The Cody family finds comfort in their faith, trusting that Jax rests safely in the Lord's arms.

Jax has a family whose love for him will endure always, and he will remain forever a part of their hearts. In addition to his parents, he is lovingly remembered by his paternal grandparents, Brian & Lisa Cody; his maternal grandparents, Sean & Mandee Fulton; his aunts, Gena Cody, Haley Fulton, and McKenna Fulton; and his loyal fur brother, Gunner.

As Jax was welcomed into Heaven, his brother, Tate Jackson Cody, gently received him and now holds him close until the day their family is reunited.

Though his tiny feet never walked upon this earth, Jax's life has left a lasting mark on the hearts of his family. He will always be remembered as a dearly loved son, grandson, and nephew, whose memory will be cherished.

The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home's Chapel at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Zach Washington officiating.
