Elsie Imogene "Jean" Norton Standridge, age 98, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026. She was born on August 8, 1927 in Paulding County, daughter of the late Paul Norton and the late Hazel Miller Norton. Jean worked for 30+ years at SunTrust Bank. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Linda Williams, Donna Tucker (Tommy), Neal Standridge (Ann); grandchildren, Rebecca Tucker-Wideman (Chris), David Tucker (Alisa), Craig Standridge (Sharon), Brittany Baldree (Charlie), Daniel Edwards; great-grandchildren, Brendan Tucker, Clark Tucker (Erin), Charley Kay Tucker, Josiah Standridge, Bradley Baldree. sister, Betty Eison (W.T.).

In addition to her parents, Jean was also preceded in death by her husband, Grady Standridge; son-in-law, Larry Williams; grandson, Chris Williams.

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 3, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Bryan Alexander officiating. David Tucker, Clark Tucker, Brendan Tucker, Craig Standridge, Daniel Edwards and Andy Norton will be serving as pallbearers.

Interment will be at Rosehaven Cemetery.
